Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

The candidate must be an international student.

The applicant must be a citizen of a country outside the EU, EEA (the European Economic Area) or Switzerland.

The applicant must be admitted to a master’s degree programme at the University of Copenhagen.

The applicant must be granted a time-limited residence permit to study a higher education programme in Denmark.

The University of Copenhagen is the largest educational institution in Denmark. It consists of eight faculties, which together deliver over 200 academic programs in the fields of health sciences, humanities, law, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, sciences, social sciences, and theology. How to Apply for the Scholarship

For applying to theses studentships, candidates are needed to follow these steps:

For taking advantage of this program, requisites are compelled to submit their application for being enrolled in a masters degree program at the University of Copenhagen. After being registered, candidates will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants must meet the general country/study curriculum entry requirement.
• You must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria following the country/curriculum in which you studied.
• The applicant requires a minimum successful completion of a relevant and recognised university degree equivalent in level and content to a Danish Bachelor’s degree.
• The applicants are required to document English language proficiency and should expect to provide documentation in the form of a language test, such as TOEFL or IELTS.
• All applicants who have previously completed any courses or exams as part of an unfinished Master’s programme at any university are required to disclose this information in the application.

Visa Requirements

Suppose you plan to stay for more than three months in Denmark. In that case, you will need either a certificate of registration or a residence permit, as follows: EU / EEA citizens – they will need a certificate of registration and Swiss nationals will need to apply for a residency card. Non-EU / EEA citizens – before arriving in Denmark, they will have to apply for a Danish residency permit.
