Alberta Issues Invitations for Express Entry Candidates with CRS Scores of 300

Alberta organized its fourth express entry draw, inviting immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
The concerned nominee program invited a total of 150 express entry students. The candidates have a Comprehensive ranking Score as much low as 300
The immigrating aspirants need not necessarily have job offers in the province to be invited to apply for the provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry Stream. Although they need to have proper profiles in the Express Entry system.
Through the Express Entry, applications are managed for three enlisted economic Programs in Canada. They are the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
The eligible candidates for Express Entry are ranked primarily based on several factors. They include work experience, educational elements, mastery over the official language, and age.
Based on these mentioned factors, immigrant students are given a particular score. The one with the highest score gets eligible to receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply), regarding permanent residence in regular Express Entry Draws.
The candidates with a provincial nomination of Alberta, get a bonus of 600 additional overall CRS points, in the aggregate to their overall scores. These extra points make sure that they are applicable to get the invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
So, it’s more likely to increase to 900 if a candidate has scored 300 points in the provisional nomination. That is simple enough to get qualified for an ITA in a subsequent Express Entity Draw.
According to the latest rule, a candidate with 471 CRS scores is eligible to get an ITA.

Eligibility of the Alberta Express Entry System

There are specific criteria to crack the concerned nominee. The aspirant needs to have an occupation that has a sole connection with Alberta’s economic development and diverse priorities. This will make the candidate eligible for an invitation through the AINP stream.
According to AINP, three criteria can help the candidate seek an invitation. The requirements are as follows:-
  • A job offer/work experience with Alberta
  • A preferred degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution or a justified job offer.
  • A relative, most likely to be a parent, child, or sibling to be living in the province.
In this year so far, Alberta has rendered a total of 651 invitations to Express Entry Candidates. Back in 2019, Alberta issued a total of 11, 137 invitations through the Alberta Entry System.
The Express Entry system implemented by the Canadian government is a streamlined process intended to fill the labour gaps to manage Canadian permanent residence. For this, the Canadian government has launched certain economic immigration programs.
